Through hands-on learning opportunities and connections to successful agricultural programs in the Bastrop and the Greater Austin area, Harvest aims to connect students to opportunities to delve into the world of agricultural science.
Students will have numerous opportunities for hands-on animal engagement.
Students will apply their growing S.T.E.M. knowledge to creating and maintaining a community garden.
We work to reinforce students’ strengths and partner closely with families in any growth areas.
Ms. Carranco, a Texas native, studied at The University of Chicago and the Relay Graduate School of Education. Ms. Carranco has experience teaching multiple subjects, serving as a founding school leader for another public charter school in Austin, writing curriculum, and volunteering for educational programs at the zoo.

Can parents see teaching in the classroom?
Yes, we welcome families to visit our classrooms, as long as health and safety protocols allow it and so long as it does not interfere with the academic experience of any children in the classroom.

Will students receive breakfast and lunch daily?
Yes. All students are offered breakfast and lunch for free.
We offer free transportation with centrally located bus stops throughout the city. Although we don’t do door to door pick ups, we are glad to work with you to find the closest bus stop to you!
