At Compass Rose Ingenuity, we want our students to soar and pursue their own dreams. Strategically located at Port San Antonio, home of aeronautics companies like Boeing, students are able to explore S.T.E.M. to understand career pathways of the future.
Computer Science and Programming
The Programming and Software Development program of study explores the occupations and education opportunities associated with researching, designing, developing, and testing operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software for medical, industrial, military, communications, aerospace, business, scientific, and general computer applications. This program of study may also include exploration into creating, modifying, and testing the codes, forms, and script that allow computer applications to run.
Engineering
The Engineering program of study focuses on the design, development, and use of engines, machines, and structures. CTE learners will learn how to apply science, mathematical methods, and empirical evidence to the innovation, design, construction, operation, and maintenance of different manufacturing systems.

Paula Salas
Principal, Ingenuity Elementary
Paula Elizabeth Salas was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. She graduated with her Bachelor’s degree from UTSA and received her Master’s in School Leadership from Trinity University. This will be her 14th year in education after serving as a middle school teacher and elementary assistant principal. She will work hard to continue building strong relationships with parents, students, staff, and community partners. She wants students to feel loved and know they can accomplish their goals.
Jamie Pellant
Principal, Ingenuity Secondary
Jamie Pellant is the Principal of the Secondary STEM school on the West Side of San Antonio, bringing 21 years of experience in education. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary English and a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership. Known for her bold leadership and uncompromising commitment to excellence, Ms. Pellant is passionate about driving innovation, holding high expectations, and ensuring students and staff alike rise to their fullest potential. She is dedicated to fostering a learning environment where students are empowered to think critically, embrace creativity, and excel in STEM and beyond.

Yes. All students are offered breakfast and lunch for free.
Where are your bus stops located?
Once you enroll your student(s), we will help you find the bus stop closest to you.
Transportation
We offer free transportation with centrally located bus stops throughout the city. Although we don’t do door to door pick ups, we are glad to work with you to find the closest bus stop to you!
