Marlana Turner

Principal, Legacy Elementary

Marlana Turner, dedicated educator specializing in 5th-8th grade math/science, coaches teachers and mentors girls in sports. As Principal at Compass Rose Public Schools, she leads in educational leadership, staff development, and improving student outcomes, driven by faith and family.
Tina DeValk

Tina DeValk

Principal, Legacy Middle School

Tina has served the last 11 years in administration; this will mark her 8th year in principalship. Her purpose is grounded in her dedication and commitment to providing all students with a robust and rigorous education that will allow them to lead a life of choice and opportunity. She received her BA in Spanish and her M. Ed in Leadership and Policy Studies both from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
Jesse Samudio

Jesse Samudio

Principal, Legacy High School

Entering his fifth year at the Legacy Campus and his first year as principal, Mr. Samudio brings eight years of experience in K-12 education to his role. Prior, he spent eight years working in Higher Education. Committed to serving the community he grew up in, Mr. Samudio holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Texas State University and a Master’s in Administration with a focus on Organizational Development from the University of the Incarnate Word.

Will students receive breakfast and lunch daily?
Yes. All students are offered breakfast and lunch for free.
Where are your bus stops located?
Once you enroll your student(s), we will help you find the bus stop closest to you.

Transportation

We offer free transportation with centrally located bus stops throughout the city. Although we don’t do door to door pick ups, we are glad to work with you to find the closest bus stop to you!
